Dr. Alexandra Kukorowski - Veterinarian

Dr. Kukorowski completed her undergraduate studies at Penn State and went on to graduate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021.

During her undergraduate years she competed with the Penn State Equestrian Team, and published research on the dietary effect of fatty acid composition in chicken eggs. Upon graduation from veterinary school, she received the American College of Veterinary Surgeons Student Surgery Proficiency Award which recognizes students with aptitude for surgical technique and expertise in perioperative care. Dr. Kukorowski completed a one year rotating internship at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, KY. During this time she gained great skill in surgical technique, administration of anesthesia, and management of hospitalized patients. In the fall of 2022, Dr. Kukorowski joined the team at AMC.

Dr. Kukorowski's veterinary interests include musculoskeletal rehabilitation, general surgery, and helping our beloved companions thrive in their senior years. Outside of the veterinary hospital, Dr. Kukorowski still pursues her lifelong passion of horseback riding and competing in hunters and equitation.
